Hong Kong-based mobile brand, iVOOMi, has launched iVOOMi iPro in Indian market to expand its product portfolio at a price tag of just INR 3,999. The smartphone is said to be India’s first FullView (18:9) smartphone which is Flipkart exclusive available from today i.e. September 20.

On this smartphone purchase, Reliance Jio customers will receive a cashback of INR 2,200 on the smartphone purchase which will be credited after recharge with INR 198 or INR 299 prepaid pack.

eCommerce major, Amazon India, has launched a card-less EMI option using Amazon Pay through which customers will be able to purchase high value items without using credit card.

This offer has been launched keeping in mind the festive season and to take on Walmart owned Flipkart and attract more customers.

“Amazon Pay EMI is the hassle-free way to get instant credit, via a completely digital process, for purchases using EMI on Amazon.in.”

The new cardless credit facility offers an EMI from INR 8000 to up to INR 60,000 over a period ranging from 3 to 12 months for any purchase made through Amazon.in.

Amazon customers need to complete a one-time setup process in order to avail the Amazon Pay EMI payment option checkout on Amazon.in to make payments over EMIs ranging from 3 upto 12 months.

Customers will also be able to keep a track of their purchases, repayments from a dashboard of this payment mode. Here are all the things you need to know about this new payment option from Amazon.

Steps to avail CardLess EMI Option

Amazon Pay EMI is available only for mobile platforms. The payment mode is applicable for single item purchases and the minimum purchase amount is INR 8,000 to avail Amazon Cardless EMI facility.

The e-commerce giant claims that users can get credit within 60 seconds and there are no processing fees or hidden charges of any kind. However, the feature is applicable only on single item purchases without an exchange offer.

Here customers need not to enter any credit/debit card details such as credit/debit card numbers etc.

1. Go to Amazon Pay EMI registration page on your Amazon.in mobile App
2. Tap on Amazon Pay EMI > Register
3. Provide your PAN and Aadhaar/Virtual ID (VID) details for verification
4. Complete the process of verification by entering the OTP received on your registered mobile number
5. Now Amazon sends an approved Amazon Pay EMI limit on your screen
6. Choose the auto-repayment option by selecting the debit cards from banks mentioned by Amazon
7. Link your bank account/debit card to process your monthly EMI repayments whenever you use this limit for booking
8. You will be charged for an amount of up to INR 5 to verify your details. This amount will be refunded to you in 3-5 business days

To be eligible for this facility, a customer needs an Amazon ID, a valid Aadhar or PAN card and a bank account. Banks currently supporting this facility include Canara Bank, Citi Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank and Kotak Bank.

Samsung Mobile India launched four smartphones in its Galaxy A and Galaxy J series which all features Samsung’s flagship ‘Infinity Display’ offering an almost bezel-less-like feel with 18:5:9 aspect ratio.

The all four new smartphones also run on Android Oreo operating system. While the all-new Samsung Galaxy A6+ and A6 feature a metal unibody design, the Galaxy J8 and J6 come with a polycarbonate body.

Samsung Galaxy A6+ and A6 specifications

Samsung Galaxy A6 and A6+ feature a similar spec-sheet with differences in processor, display size, battery and rear camera. The Galaxy A6+ is powered by a Snapdragon 450 processor while the A6 is powered by an Exynos 7870 SoC.

The smaller Galaxy A6 comes with a 5.6-inch HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity Display with 18:5:9 aspect ratio, the Galaxy A6+ has a 6-inch display with the same resolution.

The Galaxy A6 comes with a 16MP rear camera with f/1.7 aperture while the bigger A6+ has a dual-lens setup with a 16MP primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture and a 5MP secondary sensor with f/1.9 aperture.

There is a 16MP front camera on the A6 while the Galaxy A6+ has a 24MP selfie camera.

The Galaxy J8 has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded to up to 256GB. On the other hand, the Galaxy J6 comes in two variants, Galaxy J6 with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage and 4G RAM and 64GB storage version.

There is support for microSD card of up to 256GB on both.

Google has today launched its smart speakers range. Google Home, Home Mini smart speakers were launched in India on an event in New Delhi. The Google Home and Google Home Mini will be available to buy online in the country exclusively via Flipkart, and will also be made available via offline stores such as Reliance Digital, Croma, Bajaj Electronics, Vijay Sales, Sangeetha, and Poorvika.

These speakers will support Google Play Music, YouTube, Netflix, Saavn, and Gaana. Hindi support will be added to Google Home speakers later this year.

The Google Home price in India is Rs. 9,999, a price that sees it compete directly with the Amazon Echo smart speaker – powered by the Alexa voice-based virtual assistant – in the country. Google Home will come in a Chalk fabric base, and Coral will come soon. The Amazon Echo is also priced at Rs. 9,999.

Likewise, the Google Home Mini competes with Amazon Echo Dot, and set at a price of Rs. 4,499 – same as the Echo Dot. Google Home Mini is available in Chalk and Charcoal fabric colors.

Chinese consumer electronics and mobile communication company, Oppo brand under OPPO Electronics Corp., has finally launched its flagship smartphone Oppo F7 in India today in an event held in Mumbai. OPPO’s major product lines include smartphones, Blu-ray players and other electronic devices.

This newly launched baby is the successor to the Oppo F5, the highlight of this device is its whopping 25MP front-facing camera with Artificial Intelligence features, which the company is claiming to be the first on a camera smartphone.

The only real competition for the handset in this aspect comes from Vivo which is offering a slightly low 24MP selfie-camera in its recently launched Vivo V9.

Price & offers on Oppo F7

Oppo F7 is priced at Rs 21,990, for the 4GB RAM variant and Rs 26,990, for the 6GB RAM variant. Both the variants come in Solar Red, Blue and Moonlight Silver color options. There is also a Black diamond-cut edition of the Oppo F7.
